Parenthood for Single Parents or
Same Sex Couples

The desire to be a parent and have a family is a common goal of many people, including gay, straight or single women and men. RMA of Philadelphia is pleased to offer reproductive services to single women and same sex couples.

We have helped many same sex couples become parents and offer a welcoming and friendly environment for all of our patients.

Our services include donor sperm insemination, egg donation – using both known and unknown donors – and surrogacy. Thanks to the availability of effective fertility procedures, single women or men and same sex couples will often have a very good chance of achieving pregnancy.

There are also legal challenges that can affect the rights of single or same sex parents. We work with many local community organizations and lawyers to ensure that all legal, ethical and medical concerns are appropriately addressed for each of our patients.
