Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows our infertility experts to clearly view the condition of a woman’s reproductive organs. It is an effective way to diagnose or treat certain causes of infertility, including:
- endometriosis
- ovarian cysts
- adhesions
- uterine fibroids
- ectopic pregnancy
- blocked or damaged fallopian tubes
Performed in an outpatient surgical setting, laparoscopy usually takes between one and three hours to perform, and requires general anesthesia.
